This is an idea that I’ve had for some time and I’m aiming to start on it in the near future. With the recent success of the Total War: Warhammer two part expansion, I thought it would be an interesting idea to take the setting of the first game and create a completely new campaign for it. The goal would be to make it feel like it was made by a completely different studio, but still have all the same additions and changes that the official Total War: Warhammer 2 campaign has.
Total War: ROME: Rise of the Republic Mod Campaign.
The developer of the Total War: Warhammer Mod, Lervan, has confirmed in a recent interview that the community campaign for the game’s next DLC, Total War: Warhammer 2 – The End Times, will feature Dark Elf and Lizardmen factions, and that both factions have their own unique campaign, unlike the human faction. Some fans have raised concerns about a possible lack of balance and the fact that the two new factions might be too overpowered for the humans, but Lervan has assured fans that the mod’s campaign will not be an easy ride, and will feature a lot of action and chaos.
The dedicated team that makes Total War: Attila’s Rise of Mordor mod has taken another step forward with the release of Alpha 0.4.0 , which reshapes the Erebor faction in the game. As development progresses, however, players who want to complete the Lord of the Rings mod’s custom campaign will have to wait longer. Total war: Rise of Mordor alpha 0.4.0 was released in early March this year and introduced Erebor’s first custom general: Dain II Ironfoot. The faction has undergone quite a revamp, with new unit maps and balance changes in terms of unit size, health, morale and chevron cost in multiplayer. But when an impatient fan on Mod DB asked when we would be able to play the Rise of Mordor campaign, Mod said Mr. Mordor: I don’t know. Jox gave a simple and relatively straightforward answer: Unlikely this year. The mod campaign requires a special tool that the team has to develop themselves, which is probably why it takes so long to make it playable. Rise of Mordor is a pretty ambitious game that will feature eighteen factions, as well as custom settlements and more, according to the Trello board. While work continues on the Lord of the Rings mod, Total War: Warhammer 3 will wrap up Creative Assembly’s fantasy trilogy later this year. If you haven’t heard, or just need a reminder, here are the factions you can expect in the upcoming game. The latest development in this saga is a Youtube video claiming that the mod is being produced by a team of experienced modders, it’s the first time it’s been mentioned in two years that a group of modders are actively working on a community-made mod (instead of just a single modder), and it’s the first time a member of the project has expressed interest in the mod’s release..
