The third-person cat-adventure game, Stray Cat Games’ upcoming game, is delayed and will be released on the PC in 2013. That’s according to the official site, at least. Stray Cat Games’ David Rosen said in an interview with Polygon that the game’s release date is still very much up in the air, but that it will be coming out on the PC first. “It hasn’t been announced yet, but I would assume that it’s coming out first on the PC, and then the other platforms,” he said.

A third-person exploration game about a girl and her stray cat, has been put on hold by developer “The Code Monkeys”, to focus on “the future of the company”.
The publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer BlueTwelve Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming third-person cat adventure game Stray, which shows off several locations around its forgotten cybercity, as well as their inhabitants, as well as giving us an idea of how the game approaches puzzles and what role small flying drone B12 will play.
Players handle an injured cat that got separated from its family and ended up in the aforementioned cybercity in the game Stray. To get out, you’ll need to solve “an ancient riddle,” which will involve a combination of platforming, puzzle solving, and conversation. Playing from the viewpoint of a cat will need new ways to solve problems that are otherwise familiar.
Rather of using a lever or pushing a button to halt a fan in its course, the game’s protagonist must pick up a bucket and roll it down a ramp, eventually locking the fan in place. Stray’s lead feline is also seen pushing a paint bucket over a ledge in order to shatter a glass pane below, perhaps allowing them to escape.
While certain parts of the cybercity seem to be deserted, the location is nonetheless populated by droids that have a human-like appearance. B12, a drone the protagonist encounters along the journey, makes it easier for them to communicate, revealing more about their society.
You’ll need stealth and speed to avoid the many hazards you’ll come across as you make your way throughout the city, but you can also get weapons to fight back. The gameplay clip for Stray only shows one kind of opponent, which looks like adorable, blobby headcrabs attempting to swarm their victim.
Stray was supposed to be out this year, but it’s been pushed back to early 2022, when it’ll be available on PC, Steam, PS5, and PS4.
